Why Pelvic Floor Therapy?
The pelvic floor has a layer of muscles that support organs including the bladder, uterus and bowels. There are a wide variety of pelvic floor conditions that occur when these muscles become weak or damaged through childbirth or aging. Nearly all pelvic floor disorders can be treated and corrected through physical therapy, including specific treatments such as biofeedback, bladder training, and more.

Our Process At Crōm Rehabilitation
Our process is designed to help you effectively achieve your therapeutic goals. During your first visit, we will take a full 60 minutes to ensure enough time for evaluating your condition and determining your needs. After our evaluation, we will create a tailored treatment plan for you based on our findings. The specific treatments and techniques used, as well as the duration and frequency of following treatment sessions, will depend on your unique needs.
Patients with pelvic, sexual and menstrual pain or painful bladder syndrome may be treated using manual therapy, exercise, decongestive therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, or biofeedback. These patients typically attend treatment sessions two times per week for ten weeks, and as their condition improves, they attend less frequently. Patients with urinary incontinence, frequency, or urgency may be treated using pelvic floor biofeedback and bladder training, electrical stimulation, or individualized kegel exercises. For these patients, treatment sessions are typically twice a week for three weeks and then once a week for a month.
Using your specialized plan, we will help restore your pelvic health and get you back to a pain-free lifestyle.
